Source Water Contaminant Resolution Subcommittee

The objectives / goals of the committee include: The purpose of the Source Water Contaminant Resolution Subcommittee is to develop guidelines and position on detecting, monitoring, and developing alternatives to remove low level contaminants from ingredient water. The initial scope is to develop a white paper on issues pertaining to polyfluoroalkenes (PFAS) in source water. We have valuable insight from the Carbon Subcommittee and feedback from the July 2020 PFAS Workshop. Current technologies include Carbon, Membrane, and Ion Exchange. We are looking for other technologies and valuable input on the topic.

Beverage Ingredients Course

Beverage Ingredients Course

In order to supply beverages, we must have ingredients. Without them, a beverage cannot exist. There are different types of beverages, and, naturally, these different types have different ingredients. This Beverage Ingredients course offers a deep dive into understanding the principles of the chemistry, manufacturing, quality guidelines, and applications of the most common ingredients in beverages we consume.

The Water module was developed in conjunction with the Water Quality and Treatment Technical Committee.
