Description

The objectives / goals of the committee include: The purpose of the Source Water Contaminant Resolution Subcommittee is to develop guidelines and position on detecting, monitoring, and developing alternatives to remove low level contaminants from ingredient water. The initial scope is to develop a white paper on issues pertaining to polyfluoroalkenes (PFAS) in source water. We have valuable insight from the Carbon Subcommittee and feedback from the July 2020 PFAS Workshop. Current technologies include Carbon, Membrane, and Ion Exchange. We are looking for other technologies and valuable input on the topic.
