The Packaging Technology Technical Committee provides a forum for industry stakeholders to collaborate to create voluntary guidelines and best practices to benefit the industry as a whole. The Packaging Technology Technical Committee promotes the understanding of shared beverage packaging challenges and innovative beverage packaging technologies.

The objectives / goals of the committee include: Develop a test method/guideline to evaluate the effectiveness of the tamper evident band in plastic closures used on plastic bottles.
