Liquid sucrose is defined as the solution produced by mixing a known amount of water with a known amount of granular sucrose. Liquid sucrose is a viscous, water white to light straw colored solution with no extraneous matter. Liquid sucrose must be processed, packaged, stored under sanitary conditions appropriate to food products, and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
