Alina is a recent transfer to UF after earning an Associate's in Food Science with a 4.0 GPA from Miami Dade. She is interested in pursuing a career in the beverage industry and is particularly interested in juices and juice technology. She worked for the Florida Agricultural Research Service last summer.
California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo
Major: Masters in Agriculture with specialization in Food Science
Jeremy is continuing his work at Cal Poly. Winner of the 2008- 2009 scholarship and presenter of, "Workplace Safety and Efficacy When Using Ozone" at the Sanitation Technical Committee Forum at BevTech 2009, Jeremy is completing his Master's degree this year.
Purdue University
Major: Food Science with a minor in German
Also a winner of the 2008-2009 scholarship, Rachel is continuing her degree work at Purdue. She has interned for the last two years for Sensient.
