Plantation Golf Club's championship golf course offers golfers of all skill levels an enjoyable challenge in Frisco, Texas. Located just 10 minutes from our hotel, this course will be a great opportunity to connect with other ISBT members before BevTech gets started.

From their website:

Plantation Golf Club's beautiful 6,402-yard, par-72 championship golf course was designed by Richard Ellis to blend seamlessly with its beautiful natural surroundings in the rolling hills of Frisco, Texas, just 30 minutes from downtown Dallas.

Mature trees frame wide, generous Bermuda fairways and perfectly-maintained greens, with 20 sand bunkers, 9 picturesque ponds and indigenous flora and fauna adding to the course's strategic diversity as well as its beauty. While challenging for scratch golfers, multiple tees on each hole enable golfers of all ages and abilities to enjoy this scenic golf gem.

Fishing at Lake Lewisville (Sunday)

Lake Lewisville

The BevTech 2022 fishing trip will be an exciting experience. With Luck O' The Irish Fishing Guide Service, you will be able to discover the finest angling opportunities Texas has to offer. This is a family-owned and operated company that has been successfully putting their clients and friends on fish.

On our day out with the Luck O' The Irish crew, we'll fish with captains Omar Cotter, Jonathan Cotter, or Don Novak. Each of them has years of experience fishing Lake Lewisville and will make sure the fishing trip is productive, comfortable, and filled with lasting memories!

Lake Lewisville is one of the largest and closest lakes to the DFW metroplex. This lake has all the local target species, including Sand Bass, Stripers, Hybrids, Crappie, and Catfish. They roam the waters here and will readily take either live bait or artificial lures, meaning you'll be able to try out different techniques to entice the bite and reel in that prized catch.

Plan on leaving before sunrise on Sunday morning from the hotel and returning mid-afternoon.

The Sixth Floor Museum (Sunday)

Sixth Floor Museum

BevTech 2022 is pleased to offer a trip to one of Texas' most visited historic sites. The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza chronicles the life, death, and legacy of President John F. Kennedy. The Museum is in the former Texas School Book Depository building, where evidence of a sniper was found after the assassination of President Kennedy on November 22, 1963. Much of the exhibit space looks as it appeared in the 1960s. Highlights include a sniper's perch, the FBI model used by the Warren Commission, an original teletype machine that first transmitted news of the president's death, Oswald's wedding ring, historic films, photos and more. An interactive display overlooks Dealey Plaza. Admission includes an audio guide, available in eight languages including ASL. Price includes bus ride to and from the museum.

The tour group will tentatively leave the hotel around 9:00 a.m. and return mid-afternoon. Details will be shared with registrants once finalized.

C5 Outing (Sunday)

C5 Texas

ISBT is pleased to work with the C5 Youth Foundation to create a environmental activity where we will work with youth to give back. This concept was conceived in 1999 by John Alm, former CEO of Coca-Cola Enterprises. His vision was to help high potential youth with limited resources become successful and responsible leaders in their communities. Investing his own resources, John created the Camp Paintrock program and began working with young people in the Los Angeles area.

Building on the goals and philosophy of the Camp Paintrock program, the C5 Youth Foundation was created in 2001 as a 501(c)(3) organization. Thanks to start up funding provided by Coca-Cola Enterprises and the Coca-Cola Company, the program was expanded to four sites including Texas, New England, Georgia and finally incorporating the Paintrock program in Southern California. The C5 Texas program was the first independent site to be established and has been serving Texas youth since 2003.

C5 is a five-year program that provides opportunities for young men and women to participate in challenging activities, engage in community service, explore career opportunities, and learn the skills they need to graduate with confidence and become the leaders of change that they want to see in themselves and their communities. Check out this video to learn more about the impact C5 has had on some of their alumni, or visit the C5 Leaders website.

Join us for a day of volunteering alongside teen leaders from the C5 Youth Program to give back to the local community, from 12:00-3:00 p.m. The exact location and project are still being finalized, but it will take place in the Dallas-Frisco area and will focus on sustainability. Details will be shared with registrants once finalized.
