If you visit our website we will not collect or store any information unless you choose to provide the information to us. You can choose to submit information to us by completing an online account application or information request, send an e-mail to our Webmaster, or send information using our online Secure Guestbook.


We do not use persistent "cookies" or tracking mechanisms that collect personally identifying information on our sites. A "cookie" is a small text file that a web site can place on your computer's hard drive in order for example, to collect information about your activities on the site. The cookie transmits this information back to the Web site's computer which, generally speaking, is the only computer that can read it. In accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), when a visitor communicates with us and indicates an age under 13, no personally identifying information is collected in conjunction with that submission; we will attempt to contact the parent to obtain parental consent, provide parental notice, or explain to the child parental consent is needed.


E-mail - If you choose to send us a communication by electronic mail (e-mail), please be aware that your e-mail address is in the header information. We will use your e-mail information to respond to your request. We will not place your e-mail address on any lists, so you will not receive unsolicited e-mail from us. Please be aware that e-mail is not secure and may be intercepted. If your request includes sensitive information such as your social security number, account number, etc., please contact us online using our Secure Guestbook (link) or by phone at (319) 356-5800. We will only send you general information via e-mail.


Online Banking and Online Bill Pay -When you use our Online Banking and Online Bill Pay services, the bank and its online banking service provider has access to your personal account information. This information is retained on the bank's and its internet banking service provider's secure systems with access limited to employees on a need to know basis. User access codes are required to use these online services. Users must keep these numbers and codes confidential to prevent unauthorized access to their accounts and to prevent unauthorized use of these services.


HOW WE USE AND DISCLOSE INFORMATION:


If you choose to provide personally identifying information to us, we will use and disclose it as described in this Privacy Policy. We will not share this information outside of the bank unless we are legally compelled to do so.
